7 Ways to optimize your week – you have more time than you think

We are totally oblivious of the fact that we waste ALOT of hours every day. The only reason we don’t realize this is that NO ONE IS ACTUALLY COUNTING. If you really want to optimize and make the best out of the 168 hours you’ve got then do the following:

1. Time Tracking: Keep a time log for at least one week to gain insights into how you’re currently spending your time. This allows you to identify patterns, detect time-wasting activities, and make informed decisions about how to allocate your hours more effectively.

2. Prioritization: Identifying your core competencies and aligning your time with your values and long-term goals. By focusing on what truly matters to you, you can prioritize activities that contribute to your personal and professional growth, while minimizing or eliminating less meaningful tasks.

3. Time Blocking: Time blocking involves scheduling specific blocks of time for different activities or categories of tasks. For example, you can allocate dedicated time for focused work, exercise, family time, personal hobbies, and relaxation. By setting aside uninterrupted periods for specific activities, you increase productivity and ensure that all important areas of your life receive attention.

4. Outsourcing and Delegation: Recognizing that you can’t do everything yourself, delegate tasks or outsource them to others whenever possible. If all of the above seems too much then just do one thing. Just try the point number 1 and measure your time and see where are these 168 hours actually getting spent and once you are aware the rest of steps will only feel the natural follow up activities.
